K-Guard Gutters Rocky Mountains

I'm going to give these folks a 5 though I do think there are some caveats to consider.

If you get a lot of debris on your roof and are *sure* you want gutter guard system, these are a solid option. We've had them out twice for full installs. The company is very responsive both before and after, up front about costs, and their installers are real craftsmen. These move rivers of water away from your home and you will not have clogged gutters. But if you do by chance, they will be out to address it quickly. Any other post-install issue is also promptly fixed in my experience. Finally, their warranties are top notch.

That being said, there are a couple of slight drawbacks, even with a very well done installation.

These gutters develop icicles in shadier spots and not just the tiny variety. If not over part of your house, it might not matter much. They can install heating in your gutters, even just partially, but it's a significant increase in cost.

If these get damaged in a storm, the entire system has to be replaced, even if it's only the guards that took the brunt of it. Hopefully not something that happens often and insurance doesn't balk at.

They are not cheap. You could install quality normal gutters and have someone out to clean them several times a year for many years before breaking even by my estimate. Not having to do that or even wonder really if your gutters need to be cleaned *is* convenient.

Overall, some small tradeoffs for pretty much total peace of mind when it comes to keeping water away from your home.

I bought my retirement home and want the best of everything in it. I turned to K-Guard gutters to replace the failing, clogged gutters I had. We live on Lookout Mountain surrounded by huge, beautiful pine trees that had consistently clogged our gutters. Due to the higher elevation, ice damming also was a consistent problem during the winter.

These experts came in, knocked out the job and installed heat tape lines where needed. Now... NO clogs, NO leaks, NO ice dams and the house looks great!

I've had them in for a year now. One area of gutter that I wanted a specific way, just didn't work well over the winter. So they came back out to redo that. Spoiler alert... they made it a warranty repair and did it for FREE.

Amazing work. I highly recommend them and their unique product.

Wow - what a great experience. The initial salesman explained about modern gutters and their leaf and dirt prevention features. Most importantly he didn't push for the most expensive option, but advised me on a lower cost option which we both agreed would work well for my needs.

Installation was professionally done and I am very satisfied with the results. Jackson, the owner, came by later at my request to help with an item which needed to be fixed.

Call them, and use them, with confidence.

Friendly and honest. A few days after they came and installed the gutters (on the day they promised, no delays) it rained and I noticed the gutters in the back of the house didn't seem to be working correctly. I took a couple of videos and emailed them to Terry, their office admin. The owner, Jackson, called me right away, came to inspect them a day or so later, and had a team come and correct the issue a day after that. I read horrible reviews about K-Guard's competitors with trying to correct issues post installation. K-Guard had outstanding reviews and I am happy to add to them. They really do stand behind their product. We are coming up on our first winter with our new gutters and I have been assured by Jackson and his team that I can call if I see or suspect any other issues. I plan to update my review after winter is over with how it went!

K-Guard provided a great overall experience from the sales to the installation. Their salesman Jeff was passionate and very knowledgeable, the gutters themselves are a great debris-blocking design so I'll never have to get up on my roof again to clear the gutters, and the installation went well & the gutters look great.

After install I noticed a piece sticking out a bit further from the house than it should have, but after a quick phone call the owner Jackson personally made an appearance at my house to check it out. I'm glad that happened because it was a true pleasure to meet Jackson, he's a great guy and the company is in good hands. He took care of the issue right away and we had a great conversation.

A+ to this company - if you're going with new gutters, go K-Guard!

Very professional installation and followup to check for problems. They clean up and haul away old stuff. Leaves and debris were not my biggest problem it was birds nesting in the gutters. I have a house vent over the laundry that melts snow in the winter so I had to add heat cable in that area else some big ice drapes formed it that area. It was an easy retrofit. They cost a bit more than some but are larger and very sturdy. They should solve my bird problem permanently. Easy to recommend. Color selection was large to!

Really appreciate the perfessionalism of everyone involved. Nice sturdy aluminum gutters. We had a very hard rain last night before completion and b4 the toppers were installed. The 5" wide gutters collected and distributed the rain effectively. The color complements my home. Finally, it is no wonder that they ranked 5 stars in the 2021 Arapahoe Homeowners Referral Guidebook.

Our daughter's 2-story, walk-out basement house in Highlands Ranch has rear gutters that are 3 stories high, which is beyond my husband's comort zone on a ladder. (He got bids on gutter covers and replacement no-clean gutters and he is writing this review for me since he obtained the bids and was present for the entire installation.)

While the gutter covers were much cheaper, the gutters are original to the house (1993) and are steel which is starting to rust. Rather than put new covers on gutters that are nearing the end of their usefull life, we decided to go with new gutters. In my husband's opinion (he is a retired Purchasing Director for the State and has seen thousands of salesman toting their wares), K-Guard had the best design and warranty so that's who we went with.

Jackson Bain was timely for his appointment, walked the job site and then gave a complete product demonstration and competitive itemized pricing. He had no problem waiting while we obtained HOA approval and wasn't pushy. The work began as scheduled and was completed in 1-day, as promised except for 1 downspout extension that was installed the next day. (This extension was necessary because my husband changed the job a little after our order had been placed and they were a little short of material.) The K-Guard gutters were manufactured on site with two very efficient machines housed in the back of their truck. All they needed from us was 110 v power.

Jackson (who is the owner) fabricated the 2-piece gutter system while his 3-person crew did the installation. They measured very carefully and used quality fasteners. His crew was efficient and neat and did a fine clean up before leaving, leaving us a partial can of spray paint in case we needed to do any touch-up they might have missed. The new gutters look great and were true to the color samples, matching the existing trim perfectly. We haven't found any old nails or debris hiding in the grass, nor have we needed the touch-up paint).

A week later my husband called with a problem. 2 of the downspout extensions protruded slightly over the lawn as we requested to direct the water far away from the foundation. But, when my husband mowed for her, he nearly hit them with the mower and the trimmer. Jackson sent his man back to make those 2 extensions tilt up for mowing. He did this at no additional charge and even included a full can of touch-up paint, not that we'll ever use it.

Since the install a few weeks ago, their product has been tested in heavy rain. The K-Guard design works as promised. K-Guard easily earns a 5-star rating. It is our pleasure to recommend them, both to Yelp users and to our daughter's neighbors who have 25-year old steel gutters that are starting to rust. Just saying...
